Welcome to Living Deconstructed

Many things happened in relatively quick succession in my life, that sent me on an unending pursuit for a life I (we) love in our home. My husband and I moved into our first home together requiring us to furnish it – just before, Covid 19 struck and we were all confined in our homes. We then moved homes just before we had our first child, giving me another opportunity to refresh our home.

Hi There

About Living Deconstructed

Welcome to a space where creativity meets functionality, and style finds its voice. This blog is your go-to guide for all things home and lifestyle. Whether you’re looking for inspiration to host a memorable gathering, transform your living space, or shop for the perfect accents, we’re here to help you navigate the journey.

With all of these monumental changes, there were adjustments we needed to make to make our home serve us better. For example, as newlyweds, I remember we hosted quite a bit, and I was excited to acquire more and more dishes to allow for this. I tried a thousand recipes, perfected some and dropped others.. During the lockdown, we needed to work from home – and we needed to rework the home to allow for comfortable sitting places to support this new need. And then we had a baby.. and well, nothing was spared.

It was as clear to me then as it is now, that home needs to be a place that not only serves us but that we also love. The more we give it, the more it gives us.

Welcome to Living Deconstructed—a journey in thoughtful, considered living. I’m thrilled to have you here. Let’s create something extraordinary together.

Living Deconstructed is born out of this. A desire to live well. To get the most out of our home -and our lives- and also for everyone who joins us to enjoy their stay with us. I’m excited to go on this journey, and to have you join me as we deconstruct (and construct) good living.
